Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Find models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to self-empty and clean up the stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung in the small rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. You will need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get every speck of dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
robot vacuum cleaner uk is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and has plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to clean up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
